The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights "
deeply regrets
" the expulsion of the head of the human rights division of the UN mission (Minusma) in Mali when it evokes a possible withdrawal of its troops.

I deeply regret the decision of the Malian authorities to declare my representative, Guillaume Ngefa, persona non grata and to order him to leave the country within 48 hours.
I have been very disturbed by the bullying and harassment he has been subjected to on social media in recent months
,” Volker Türk said in a statement.
