“With 49 new addresses joining the Bib Gourmand selection of the Michelin France 2023 Guide, these are so many invitations, addressed to all gourmets, to indulge themselves in restaurants that combine gourmet and meticulous cuisine, and measured additions. An equation that is all the more complex to solve in the current economic context, and with a strong commitment from certain restaurateurs, who fully deserve to be valued by our users. Finally, the great diversity of these tables, whether geographical or culinary, demonstrates the overflowing activity of the chefs in France and the enthusiasm of our teams to make this selection"
comments Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Guides Michelin.
The most awarded region is Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (10 tables including 3 in Lyon), ahead of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (9 tables including 2 in Nice and 2 in Avignon), Paris (5 tables) and Occitanie (5 restaurants including 3 in Hérault).
The complete selection of Bib Gourmand 2023 establishments will be updated in its entirety (taking into account any downgrades) on March 6, 2023.
