The Ministry of Health sent 4 truckloads of medicines and surgical and first-aid supplies to the governorates of Aleppo, Lattakia and Hama, in addition to sending medical convoys from the health directorates of Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Quneitra, Homs and Tartous to the governorates of Aleppo and Lattakia, and 28 ambulances and 7 mobile clinics from Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Quneitra, Homs and Tartous. , as support to Aleppo and Latakia.

The Ministry confirmed that its emergency management room assesses the situation in a timely and proactive manner, and the continuous response is coordinated in the various governorates, explaining that all public and private health facilities are on constant alert.

The Syrian Doctors Syndicate directed its branches in the governorates to provide material and moral support by any means, to help the health sector and relieve the wounded and the families affected by the earthquake.

And the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade announced that the General Organization for Free Zones, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and investors who have engineering machinery and equipment in the free zones, directed that all the mentioned mechanisms and equipment with the human cadres necessary for their work be placed at the disposal of the governors, and a number of them were immediately transferred according to the need to The stricken governorates, to support the efforts exerted in them within the framework of rescue operations and to remove the damage caused by the earthquake.

For its part, the Ministry of Education announced the suspension of working hours in all kindergartens and public, private, legal and vocational schools for the end of the current week, while keeping working hours only for a number of administrative staff to provide relief services if necessary, and preparing the affected schools to return to working hours at the beginning of next week.

The Ministry mobilized all cadres and educational institutions in all governorates to provide assistance to the people affected by the earthquake, to secure shelter and provide awareness sessions and psychological support for them, and directors of education and readiness departments in the governorates were instructed to provide the operations room with damages and losses incurred by students, educational staff, buildings and educational facilities around the clock. .

Today, the Revolutionary Youth Union organization carried out blood donation campaigns in the governorates affected by the earthquake, and provided assistance in removing rubble and providing first aid to the injured, in addition to preparing some of the links' headquarters for shelter.

The Vanguards Organization put all its cadres and all its headquarters and camps at the disposal of the administrative units, to provide the required assistance to the citizens affected by the earthquake.

The Ministry of Endowments announced the opening of mosque halls and services in the earthquake-affected areas to receive those affected, in coordination with the directors of endowments in the governorates, in addition to collecting donations in mosque funds for those affected, as part of the national donation campaign launched by the Syrian Trust for Development.

The Church of the Holy Cross, with all its bodies, launched a blood donation campaign for the people of Aleppo, in response to the distress call made by His Beatitude John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East of the Greek Orthodox, on Tuesday, from 9 am to 2 pm in the churchyard in Damascus.

In the Ministry of Communications and Technology, the bodies associated with the ministry were directed to mobilize all its cadres, mechanisms, and technical capabilities in each of the governorates of Aleppo, Lattakia, and Hama, and put them at the disposal of the governors to carry out rescue operations, contribute to removing rubble, and provide a helping hand to the people affected by the earthquake.

The Ministry emphasized maintaining high readiness for terrestrial and cellular communications in the affected governorates, especially in the affected sites determined by the Central Operations Room under the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and preparing and equipping mobile wireless stations to be installed in these sites.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the postponement of all exams in Syrian universities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of this week, and their dates will be determined later by university presidents.

The Ministry raised the readiness in the university hospitals of Aleppo, Tishreen and Al-Baath, pointing out that the housing units were inspected in all university cities in Aleppo, Lattakia and Hama to check on the conditions of the students residing in them, and the placement of all volunteer teams and student units in all governorates to provide aid and assistance to the population affected by the earthquake, in coordination With the National Union of Syrian Students.

The Ministry of Culture also postponed all cultural activities and events until a date to be determined later, and directed all its directorates and affiliated bodies in the affected governorates to put their buildings and all their capabilities in the service of relief and shelter work.

The Ministry announced the suspension of working hours in the institutes and technical centers affiliated to the Directorate of Artistic Rehabilitation (Arab Institutes of Music, Ballet School, Fine and Applied Arts Centers, Institutes of Popular Culture) starting from tomorrow until next Saturday. Exams in music institutes were also postponed until a later date.

The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources provided all governorates with additional quantities of oil derivatives (gasoline and diesel) in order to enhance rescue and rescue operations and remove rubble, while being ready to respond immediately to any emergency needs around the clock.

For its part, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing confirmed that the professional workers in the companies with their tools are fully prepared, and continue to work with the mechanisms to remove the rubble from the destroyed buildings as a result of the earthquake in the governorates of Aleppo, Hama and Latakia.

The Ministry of Electricity has mobilized the workshops of the general electricity companies in the governorates and the operational operations units to support the workers of the electricity companies in the governorates of Aleppo, Lattakia, Tartous and Hama, and to provide them with the necessary materials to repair the earthquake damage on the electrical network.

The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection asked all directorates and institutions in the governorates to continue the work of private and public bakeries, branches of the Syrian Trade Corporation, and internal trade and consumer protection patrols.

The Ministry instructed the distribution of subsidized foodstuffs and bread without cards in the affected areas where communications were cut off, and bread and foodstuffs will be provided to those affected for free in the shelters that will be established in Hama, Lattakia and Aleppo, in addition to providing what is necessary for the existing fire and rescue teams.

The Ministry announced that urgent supplies (towels and pillows) were prepared to be sent to shelters, and cars were prepared in the Syrian branches of trade in Damascus and Rural Damascus, and loaded with basic materials and food baskets to be sent to the affected areas for distribution to citizens.

The Ministry of Tourism called on the owners and investors of tourism establishments to put all the capabilities available to them of all kinds at the disposal of governors and heads of city councils and administrative units, in order to contribute to alleviating the suffering of injured citizens in the affected governorates.

And the Ministry of Transport announced that it had set up apartments in the railway housing in Aleppo to house the affected people and provide them with the necessary supplies, in addition to the participation of forklifts and large-tonnage cranes located in the port of Latakia in removing rubble in Latakia.

The ministry indicated that it had put all institutions on alert and readiness to meet all logistical requirements to remove the damage caused by the earthquake, and to stop transport by trains on the entire railway network, as a precautionary measure.

And the Ministry of Industry announced that it had coordinated with the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and Chambers of Industry in the governorates, to provide immediate assistance to the people affected by the earthquake in the governorates of Aleppo, Lattakia and Hama, and to support shelters with the necessary supplies, and it was agreed to open a special account to receive donations from industrialists to help those affected.

The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry called on all industrialists in all governorates to provide a helping hand and assistance in all its material and in-kind forms, including medicines, medical equipment, “harams” and foodstuffs for all citizens affected by the earthquake, explaining that donations are accepted by transfers for the benefit of the afflicted inside Syria in Syrian pounds, and outside Syria in dollars through Al Baraka Bank.

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor directed its directorates and civil associations operating in the governorates to deal with the effects of those affected by the earthquake, and to mobilize all their energies to assist in rescue operations, remove rubble, secure shelters for those affected, and provide full health, relief and urgent care services to those affected.

In turn, the Syrian Trust for Development launched a national donation campaign to support those affected by the earthquake and to serve joint work with relief committees.

The secretariat stated that it had received, during the past hours, a large number of calls from entities, personalities and institutions wishing to donate for the benefit of those affected in the various governorates that were hit by the earthquake at dawn today.

Regarding the response of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, the directors of agriculture and land reclamation projects in the governorates of Hama, Aleppo, Lattakia and Tartous, and the General Authority for the Management and Development of the Forest, were instructed to place all heavy and medium machinery at the disposal of rescue teams, to contribute and assist in the process of removing rubble in buildings damaged as a result of the earthquake.

The Damascus Chamber of Agriculture also provided an amount of 25 million Syrian pounds to the emergency fund to help those affected by the earthquake, stressing that it will provide all possible assistance by directing all agricultural activities registered in it to alert and contribute to saving lives and removing rubble, and mobilizing all human and mechanical energies to implement what is required of them. Aid, in addition to assistance in securing urgent health care according to the capabilities available to the Chamber and its cadres, and securing the necessary foodstuffs for the affected shelters.

The General Federation of Peasants announced the formation of volunteer committees to the maximum in all governorates, especially those affected by them, and placing all material and human capabilities at the disposal of sub-committees in the governorates headed by governors.

The federation indicated that the agricultural associations in the governorates that own government irrigation projects were directed to inspect if there were damages in the dams or irrigation facilities, and to provide them with the necessary support in partnership with all farmers in the agricultural associations.

The Ministry of Finance directed the General Customs Directorate to distribute food and clothing in its warehouses at full speed to the affected people in the governorates of Aleppo, Latakia and Hama, in coordination with the concerned authorities.

The Ministry asked the customs police to support all civil defense teams, health teams, and those concerned with searching for people trapped under the rubble, first aiding the injured, removing traces of destruction, and providing aid, calling on its employees in all governorates to donate blood and lend a helping hand to the people affected by the earthquake.

The Ministry called for the insurance sector to be immediately mobilized to limit material and physical damage, and to emphasize companies quickly disbursing compensation and facilitating the access of those affected to the necessary health services as quickly as possible.

The Ministry affirmed the mobilization of the human cadre and the harnessing of technical capabilities in its affiliated agencies, to ensure the progress of work in the branches of public banks and all parties, to provide the required services from citizens as quickly as possible.

For its part, the Damascus governorate sent heavy machinery and equipment, in addition to five ambulances and a mobile clinic with human staff, to the governorates affected by the earthquake.

The governorate prepared two convoys of humanitarian, food and medical aid and food baskets to be sent to the governorates of Aleppo and Latakia tomorrow morning.

In turn, the Rif Dimashq governorate sent vehicles and ambulances equipped with medical staff and all supplies, technicians and engineers, to support the governorates affected by the earthquake.

The deputy head of the executive office in the governorate, Jassem Al-Mahmoud, said: Six fully equipped ambulances with medical personnel were sent to the governorates of Hama, Lattakia and Aleppo, while 10 engineers from the Public Safety Committee in the governorate were sent with full equipment to the governorates of Hama and Lattakia to provide support, in addition to Sending two mobile clinics with all equipment to the governorates of Lattakia and Hama, and a full medical team to Aleppo.

The Chambers of Industry and Commerce of Damascus Countryside and the Ahl al-Sham Initiative also provide in-kind and financial assistance to those affected.

The Council of the Bar Association announced the opening of the door for donations to the council and the branches of the union in the governorates to support those affected by the earthquake.

The Federation of Charitable Societies in Damascus began collecting in-kind donations of medicines, medical equipment, and foodstuffs for those affected by the earthquake, as the Secretary of the Union, Haitham Sultji, explained that the first truck of the collected donations will set off tomorrow, loaded with 2 tons of milk, clothes, foodstuffs, and “harams.” Aid convoys will be shipped and operated to deliver the donations that will be collected successively.

The General Federation of Craftsmen asked its branches in the governorates to mobilize all the cadres and mechanisms available to them and the craft associations, to be at the disposal of the governors to contribute to rescue and relief operations, and to place all its headquarters and craft associations to be shelters for those affected by the earthquake, and to contribute by donating blood and supporting the concerned authorities and civil defense teams. in the affected governorates.
