The support of LR deputies – who, for some, are still expressing their hesitations – is essential for the executive to have its reform adopted.

The executive counts on the voices of the Republicans and does not fail to remind them.

Invited to France Inter on Monday February 6, the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, spoke directly to right-wing parliamentarians.

While the debate in the National Assembly is due to open on Monday, the government's number two calls on them to be "

faithful

" to their "

convictions

" and "

to what is in the interest of the French nation: to have a reform pensions which guarantees the sustainability of the system

".

The volatility of certain LR deputies has not escaped the minister, who knows how much their votes are essential to him to have the pension reform adopted.

In recent days, the elected Lot, Aurélien Pradié, has notably called for new provisions on long careers to ensure that those who started working before the age of 21 are also concerned.

What Bruno Le Maire closed the door to, designating the deputy as an "

isolated case

" and recalling the points already improved on the request of the Republicans.

"

They said '65 years old is too much, let's go to 64, it's more reasonable', we accepted this proposal

", thus developed the minister, also citing the minimum pension of 1200 euros and the recent concession concerning long careers, extended to those who started working between the ages of 20 and 21.

In this context, Bruno Le Maire no

longer "sees any reason, if we are honest, if we are consistent with our convictions, not to vote for this reform

".

What reasons would the LR deputies now have?

“, he pretended to question.

The Minister added to this an appeal, intended for “

those who may still have doubts, hesitations

”: “

Be faithful to what you have always defended before your voters for years.
