President al-Assad receives a number of telegrams of condolence and solidarity with Syria from presidents, kings and leaders of brotherly and friendly countries.

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received a cable of condolence from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman.

President Bashar al-Assad received a telegram of condolence from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, in which he expressed his sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to his sovereignty and to the Syrian people for the victims of the earthquake that struck Syria at dawn today.

His Excellency also received a similar telegram from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in which he affirmed the Algerian government and people's support for the Syrian people in these harsh circumstances, and their readiness to lend a hand and assist in every effort that would mitigate the severity and effects of this painful tragedy.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, affirmed the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain, government and people, with the Syrian Arab Republic in overcoming the effects of this natural disaster.

His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan expressed his condolences to President al-Assad, expressing his country's readiness to provide assistance to the families of the victims and the injured.

The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, sent a message of condolence to President al-Assad, expressing his sincere and warmest condolences to the families of the victims, and wishing recovery to the injured, expressing confidence that the Syrian leadership and people are able to overcome the effects of the disaster as soon as possible.

Also, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, in his telegram to President Al-Assad, offered his condolences to the victims of the earthquake, and affirmed his country's readiness to provide aid quickly.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed support for the families of the victims, wishing all those affected by the natural disaster a speedy recovery.

President al-Assad had also received a telegram of condolence from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in which he offered his sincere condolences to President al-Assad, the Syrian people and the families of the victims, expressing the solidarity of the State of Palestine with Syria in this great loss.

In his telegram to President al-Assad, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani expressed the Iraqi government's readiness to provide aid and assistance in any field requested by the Syrian government.
