President Bashar al-Assad received a phone call this evening from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa offered President Al-Assad his sincere condolences to his sovereignty and to the Syrian people for the victims of the earthquake, asking the Almighty God to shower the victims with His mercy and forgiveness, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed the solidarity of the government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Syrian Arab Republic, and its readiness to provide assistance and support the Syrian government's efforts to overcome the effects of this disaster.
