A week after the second day of rally against the pension reform and the Parisian parade followed by tens of thousands of demonstrators from the Place d'Italie to the Invalides, the 3rd "round" of the mobilization scheduled for this February 7 afternoon will again take place in the north of the capital.
In a press release issued Monday morning, the Paris police headquarters gave the route of the new demonstration organized by a large inter-union and high school and student organizations.
It will set off from 2 p.m. from the Place de l'Opéra (9th) to reach the Place de la Bastille (11th) around 7 p.m.
The route, with a total length of 4 km, will follow the "grands boulevards" passing by the boulevards of the Italians, Montmartre, Poissonnière, Bonne-Nouvelle, Saint-Denis and Saint-Martin to the Place de la République.
The demonstrators will then take the boulevards du Temple, des Filles du Calvaire and Beaumarchais to reach the place de la Bastille.
In the context of an announced (and potentially very followed) strike in public transport, the Prefecture of Police estimates that road traffic risks being very seriously disrupted in a large area around this route.

A specific traffic device will be put in place on Tuesday at midday.
But residents of the event, particularly those who have a vehicle on the public highway, are strongly encouraged to make their arrangements now.
“Private vehicles parked along the route or in the vicinity will be subject to displacement measures”, recalls the press release from the police headquarters.

Automobile traffic will be gradually restored on the axes concerned after the passage of the demonstrators.
"Depending on the appearance of the place", indicates the prefecture, estimating that the repercussions on traffic could be significant in all sectors of the capital between the course of the event in the north, and the axis Saint Antoine / rue de Rivoli to the south.
The police advise motorists to circumvent the area very widely "for the duration of the event".
