The central leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party announced the suspension of all the work and activities of the party and its branches, including conferences of teams, and the formation of working groups mobilized around the clock, from party leaders and bases, where the tasks are clear and specific within the framework of supporting citizens, and facing the effects of the earthquake that occurred in some provinces.
In today's meeting, the leadership stressed the role of the party in the various governorates, especially those that were subjected to the earthquake, in contributing to dealing with the damages with all available capabilities, indicating that the support will be multifaceted, including contributing to supporting civil defense teams, donating blood, sheltering the affected, and providing all party headquarters. , including secondary party preparation schools as shelters for those affected by the disaster, and to provide them with all possible types of assistance.
The leadership also asked the branches in other governorates to develop support plans according to their capabilities, and to coordinate directly and continuously with the leaders of the affected branches to know their needs and the possibilities to meet them.
