Yesterday, the Syrian film “Al-Hakim” by director Basil Al-Khatib was screened during the 41st Fajr International Film Festival in its international section, which kicked off on February 1 in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The film “Al-Hakim”, written by writer Diana Jabbour in her first cinematic experience in the form of a feature film, and produced by the Syrian National Film Corporation, takes place in a remote rural town. It tells the story of a doctor who devotes his time and life to serving the people of the town with his professional and life experiences.
The public relations of the Fajr International Film Festival stated that three films were shown yesterday in the international section of the festival: the film “The Wise” produced by Syria, the film “Winter Inside” by Amir Bashir, and the work co-produced by India, France and Qatar, and the film “The Full Moon” by director Amar. Saikhan is from Mongolia.
It is worth noting that the movie “Al-Hakim”, co-starring both artists Duraid Lahham and Sabah Al-Jazaery, is the second cinematic collaboration between Duraid Lahham and director Basil Al-Khatib, after they met with the movie “Damascus-Aleppo”.
