Quneitra - SANA
The governor of Quneitra, Eng. Moataz Abu al-Nasr Jamran, confirmed that an emergency plan and alert has been put in place for all the governorate's directorates around the clock, to provide assistance to the governorates affected by the earthquake, and to send a number of vehicles with their crews to Lattakia governorate, to help remove the rubble and treat the wounded and the injured.
The mechanisms that were sent, according to what Jamran explained in a press statement, included 2 ambulances, a mobile clinic, 2 cranes, a truck, a rescue vehicle, a lighting vehicle, a truck, a loader, a packer, and a tipper car.
An earthquake hit Syria at dawn today with a magnitude of 7.7, causing hundreds of victims, a large number of injuries, and the collapse and cracking of dozens of residential buildings.
