The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior stated that the state of public roads, as a result of the prevailing weather conditions in all governorates, is passable, except for a number of roads in Hama and Latakia.
The administration stated in its bulletin that in the governorate of Hama, the Jurin-Slenfeh road is passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow and the formation of ice, and the Shatha-Jubat-Burghal road is not passable due to the accumulation of snow.
In Lattakia: the road to “Jubet Burghal al-Ghab” and the “Maqamat Maqamat Bani Hashem” road are impassable due to the accumulation of snow, and the road to “Salunfa Broadcasting Station” is passable with difficulty due to snowfall.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to use fog lights, check brakes, reduce speed at turns, slopes and road junctions, and drive carefully to avoid accidents, noting that it had allocated phone numbers 5422703-5411365 to inquire about road conditions.
