Wanted for an attempted homicide, the suspect was finally arrested a little more than 24 hours after the fact.
Sunday, just before 7 a.m., this man in his fifties is suspected of having simply pushed his companion, on a RER D track, at Créteil-Pompadour station.
The victim, aged 43, collapsed on the rails, a good meter below.
Fortunately, no train arrived at that time on this day off.
She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
According to the first elements of the investigation, “a first dispute broke out in a train en route to Paris”, specifies a person close to the case.
Furious, the woman leaves with her companion on the heels.
On the platform, the tone escalates again.
Apparently exasperated, the man then deliberately pushed her onto the dock.
The scene was reportedly captured by CCTV footage.
A user helps the victim to go up
Fortunately, the victim's head did not hit the rails hard.
The woman was injured in the hip in particular.
The man immediately fled and left the station by taking a large staircase to reach the exit, about ten meters above the platforms.
Another user then helped her back onto the platform before the arrival of a train heading for Paris.
Alerted quickly, the police arrived before the firefighters.
Despite the description of the suspect, the man managed to disappear.
"It's a gesture of extreme violence", can't believe Maïna, a 22-year-old young woman who is waiting for her train at the same station on Monday.
"I've seen arguments before but I would never imagine that we could go this far," adds Sarah.
Fortunately, this kind of pusher story remains rare.
"Me, it's my terror.
As soon as I am in Paris, in the big stations like Châtelet-les-Halles, there are always too many people.
I'm very careful not to be too close if someone pushes me, ”says Isra, at the exit of the station, waiting for a bus, sitting on her bench.
"It does the same thing to me, his girlfriend Leïla can't believe it.
But me, I think of the accident because of the world, never of being pushed on purpose.
