"They are much more advanced tanks and have more advanced sighting systems than the adversary would have," says Commander Nick Bridges of the Enhanced Forward Presence group in Estonia.
Bridges is referring to the Leopard 2 and British Challenger 2 tanks that are part of NATO's winter exercises in the Baltic countries;
two thirds of the 44 tanks involved in this exercise will soon be deployed to Ukraine.
