A great sadness fell on the city of Beer Sheva upon learning of the death of the late Lt. Michelle Parsht, an Air Force officer who was killed in a car accident yesterday (Monday). Her friend Livi Shulman paid tribute to her: "I have known Michelle since the ninth grade, when we came to study at the Technological College of The Air Force in Be'er Sheva." Michelle, 23 years old, was a planning, supervision and production officer in a maintenance squadron at the Tel Nof Air Force base.
"She was a quiet, modest girl, full of humility and tenderness, an excellent student," Libby added.
"We all admired her and her path, we knew she would succeed wherever she went. She was an intelligent girl with lots of ambitions and goals in life."

Livy also told about the path taken by Michelle: "We parted ways when our classmates enlisted in the Air Force and she chose to continue in the academic reserve. We would talk sometimes and she would tell how much she studies, invests and is educated. She graduated with a degree in industrial engineering and management at Ben Gurion and just recently enlisted, completed a course officers and was stationed at the Tel Nof base. Michelle was just beginning to blossom, to command soldiers, to lead, to contribute. Everything was still ahead of her and this was the beginning of her journey."
Libby said.
"When we got the news yesterday, the whole class was broken, we still can't believe that she was taken, that we never heard from her again, that her life was cut short. The funeral was very difficult, the family is broken. She
left before her time, pure."

Yoav Memo, a classmate, also mourned her: "I still can't believe it happened. Michelle?! It's crazy. She was a pleasant girl, a good friend, always helpful and caring and most importantly - respectful. I don't know any other people who have reached the achievements that Michelle has reached To them, she is simply an excellent student, simply one and only."
Yoav added and said: "We were supposed to meet together with the class three months ago, but due to the constraints of the system at the base, she had to close Shabbat. I wrote to her: 'It won't be the same without you,' and now I really understand that it's not the same. So sad and painful , you didn't deserve it."

Michelle's teacher, Orly Abergel, grieved the loss: "I was Michelle's teacher, she was an amazing, quiet and modest child. She is outstanding, one who succeeds and does not brag about her successes at all. She knew how to draw and was a quiet and modest child. It is difficult for me to talk about her in the past tense , really an amazing girl."
Another woman, 43 years old, mother of four from Rehovot, was killed in the serious accident.
Another female soldier was slightly injured.
A message was given to the family of the deceased.
