An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck New York today, but no injuries were reported.
According to the US Geological Survey, the tremor occurred at a depth of three kilometers, and its epicenter was at latitude 42.856 North and 78.776 West near the town of West Seneca, east of Buffalo.
According to initial reports, the tremor did not cause casualties or material damage.
