A man in his 60s was killed and two other young men in their 20s were seriously injured today (Tuesday) in a car accident between a minibus and a private vehicle, near Moshav Mashoat Yitzhak in the south.
The MDA team that arrived at the scene pronounced the dead man dead on the spot and evacuated the two injured to the Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon. The police began investigating the circumstances of the accident.
"When we arrived at the scene, we saw a serious car accident between a minibus and a private vehicle," MDA officers Kobi Seltzer, Orin Ozari and Ben Zion Tetro said.
He was unconscious, with no signs of life, and after medical tests we determined his death."
According to them, "two men in their 20s were trapped in the private vehicle, while they were unconscious and suffering from multi-system damage.
Together with the fire brigade, we rescued them from the vehicle while providing medical treatment and evacuated them to the hospital while they were sedated and breathing."

Just yesterday, two women were killed in a car accident between three vehicles near the Tel Nof air force base in the south, one of them an officer at the base.
Another young woman was slightly injured.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
