A senior anesthesiologist at Rambam Hospital was arrested yesterday (Monday) on suspicion of standing with his car near kindergartens and touching his penis.
The police started an investigation yesterday morning, upon receiving a report of an indecent act in public when the suspect was seen in his car near a kindergarten touching his genitals.
The suspect was arrested by the police in the evening.
The police intend to ask this morning to extend the suspect's detention at the Haifa Magistrate's Court.
The Rambam Hospital stated: "This is an incident that allegedly happened outside of the hospital, and the hospital is not involved in it.
We are awaiting the results of the police investigation and will cooperate with law enforcement and disciplinary authorities as necessary."
