I never challenged the age measurement.
I have never disputed the need to work more or even the need for pension reform.
What I say has not changed: for a reform to be accepted by the French, it must be fair.
Who can justify that a reform is fair if someone who started at 17 or 18 must contribute for 44 years, while someone who started at 30 will only have to contribute for 43 years?
Can we pose the problem calmly without caricaturing each other?
The only fight I have fought for several weeks has been to ensure that those who started working before the age of 21 are not penalized.
I am constant in this fight.
