The UN estimates that the bodies of many thousands more are found under the ruins of hundreds of buildings that collapsed. One of those buildings that collapsed is located in the city of Adana. The reporter of "Israel Hayom" reports near it from the rescue efforts of the Turkish rescue teams.

The 14-story building collapsed about 36 hours ago in the city of Adana. The rescue teams are trying with all their might to find survivors, the rescuers together with volunteers are taking out buckets of sand and hoping to hear a sign of life.

So far, the teams have not been able to find a single missing person, but the forces do not give up and continue their efforts without ceasing.

The teams on the spot were joined by dozens more volunteers in their late teens who are also participating in the rescue efforts.

"I know several people who are under the rubble," said one of the young men who volunteered with his friends to help, "when they asked, we didn't hesitate for a moment, this is my neighborhood and this is my city, and if we don't help, then who will."

A few blocks away, another building collapsed yesterday following the second earthquake that struck the city of Adana.

The rescue forces say that "we still don't know who is under the building and how many. Today at noon, the neighbors who live here heard screams from under the ruins. We have started searching and we are full of hope of finding people."

Around the site, our reporter noticed the rescue teams resting and taking a break after hours of work since noon.

Israel continues to help

As part of the State of Israel's assessment of aid to Turkey, a joint delegation of the IDF and the Ministry of Health will leave tonight to establish and operate a field hospital in the area of ​​the earthquake disaster in Turkey.

The hospital is expected to operate there for about ten days.

The humanitarian mission "Olive Branches" is designed to treat the many victims of the earthquake, the hospital is expected to operate for about ten days.

The mission is led by the Medical Corps and the Home Front Command in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, when about 120 medical personnel, most of them from the government and public hospitals, as well as a logistics team, went.

The hospital will include operating rooms, trauma units, X-ray and laboratories.

Among the members of the delegation will be orthopedic doctors, pediatricians, trauma and pediatric trauma specialists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care and emergency medicine and intensive care specialists.

The Ministry of Health is prepared to assist with equipment, personnel and professional support for the success of the mission, with Dr. Sefi Mendelovitz, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health and a pediatric intensive care specialist, managing the mission on behalf of the Ministry together with representatives of the Ministry's Emergency Department.
