MK Gideon Sa'ar (the state camp) and MK Moshe Sa'ada (Likud) got into a verbal confrontation today (Tuesday) during a discussion in the Knesset's Constitution Committee on the legal revolution, with the former Minister of Justice even calling the former head of the National Security Agency "Zero from Zero".
Sa'ar , who opposes the legal revolution promoted by the government, said that "in recent years they used to talk a lot about the rights of the accused, and the current Minister of Justice told me that he would support the condition that the section we proposed that mentions the Declaration of Independence be deleted - and I did not agree to that." - You are not the man who will preach justice to us."
Sa'ar replied harshly: "I am exactly the man who will preach justice to you, you must not be Mr. Justice.
I was elected five times by the Likud voters, you are only armed because you negotiated with Ayelet Shaked, and I say this knowingly when I have the opportunity to provide more details.
You won't preach morality to me, you are zero from zero in my eyes.
I'm not going to apologize, this man is defaming my name.
MK Gilad Karib (Labor) stood by Sa'ar's side, and said to Saada: "Thank God you are an MK and not the head of the police department, thank God the prosecutor's office knew how dangerous you are."
