The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office is considering contesting the law on the administrative liability of entities against the manufacturer of 'Tiramisun',
a dessert sold as vegan but which in reality contained, according to initial analyses, traces of dairy products and which was eaten by a 20-year-old allergic to milk, ended up in a coma from anaphylactic shock and died two days ago.
In the investigation, conducted by the Nas of the carabinieri and the Ats (Health Protection Agency) and coordinated by the adjunct Tiziana Siciliano and the prosecutor Luca Gaglio, therefore, the position of Glg srl will also be entered in the register of suspects shortly, with headquarters in the Milan area, which produced that 'vegan Tiramisun' (with the Mascherpa brand), then withdrawn from the market yesterday at the disposal of the Ministry of Health.
The suspects already include the owner, the production manager and two other employees of the company

The crimes of manslaughter, fraud in the exercise of trade (the administrative liability dispute is linked to this crime) and the sale of non-genuine foodstuffs have been contested.
Meanwhile, next Thursday, or Friday at the latest, an autopsy will be carried out on the girl's body,
who ate that dessert in a restaurant in the center of Milan on January 26th.
However, it will take a few days for the results of the quantitative analyzes on the "milk proteins" present in the jar, tests entrusted to Nas, and allergy advice will also be arranged shortly by the prosecutors.
Investigations are also underway on the presence of traces of eggs (the girl was also allergic to this food) in a mayonnaise with which a sandwich eaten by the young woman was seasoned that evening.
The 20-year-old's family has appointed lawyers to follow up on the matter.
