At Irschenberg, officials from the Holzkirchen motorway police stopped the driver for a traffic check.
His further journey was stopped: According to a quick test, he had "several banned substances" intus.

As a spokesman for the highway police reports, the check took place on Monday, February 6, at around 11 a.m.
Several objects – “including marijuana itself” – were found in the 49-year-old’s vehicle, which suggested that the driver was regularly consuming narcotics.
“The suspicion continued to grow during the course of the inspection.
Among other things, a rapid test was positive.”
The police continue to report: "Due to the overall circumstances, the Munich driver was prevented from continuing his journey in his car and blood was then taken." Criminal proceedings were instituted against the driver for possession of narcotics.
"In addition, he will also have to answer for his drug journey from a traffic law perspective."
Drivers with “unclear residence conditions”
In order to enforce the procedure, the public prosecutor's office ordered that the Munich resident had to provide a security deposit of 120 euros on the spot due to unclear residence conditions.
