Antioch resounds with cries and tears.

Answer me!”, “My son, where are you?”, “My God, my God, help us!”
Browsing the mounds of concrete blocks and metal rods, the survivors scream the names of their loved ones, their neighbors trapped under the rubble.
Since the first hours of the disaster, they have been rummaging through the rubble.
Without adequate equipment, armed with simple pickaxes, shovels, sometimes only their arms.
When a lifeless body is extricated from a collapsed building, the cries turn into inconsolable sobs.
“Four of my friends have been stuck for twenty-five hours,
” Kenan says in a flat voice, pointing to a collapsed building.
I was on the fifth floor.
I got out of it by a miracle, I only have my left arm broken, ”
says the 18-year-old young man, helpless to save his family.
