The measures taken within the emergency action plan that was launched at the national level during the emergency meeting chaired by President Bashar al-Assad of the Council of Ministers yesterday morning regarding the repercussions of the earthquake that struck Syria.
Ministry of Defense:
Availability of all blood groups in sufficient quantities in all blood banks, especially in the governorates affected by the earthquake.
Internal Trade, Consumer Protection and Syrian Trade:
In implementation of the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, work is continuing to provide bread, along with other relief and food aid, to the families affected by the earthquake and who are in shelters in the governorates of Lattakia, Aleppo and Hama.
Domestic trade: 4 truck refrigerators were dispatched from the Damascus branch to the governorates of Aleppo and Lattakia, containing food baskets and basic supplies for those affected by the earthquake.
