Fatal accident at work, probably due to an explosion, in a construction site of the Third Pass railway line, between Piedmont and Liguria, with one worker dead and another injured.
It happened in Voltaggio (Alessandria).
From the first information from the Carabinieri of the Novi Ligure Company, the victim would be a 34-year-old Sicilian business traveler.
The other worker was transported to the Novi Ligure hospital.
Investigations are underway, but the cause of the explosion could have been a gas leak during an excavation activity: the 118 rescuers in fact reported an explosion.
