In "Londongrad", the Russian oligarchs are resisting

"Londongrad" still holds.

Supposed to be pounded by the British services since the cannon rumbles in Ukraine, the troubled Russian fortunes are partly resisting the pressure.

The new legislation put in place by London did not force them all out of the woods.

According to a survey by Transparency International, more than half of dodgy owners refused to disclose.

And among them, Russian oligarchs yet in the crosshairs of Westerners.

More than 52,000 properties are still held anonymously in the UK, despite the entry into force of rules requiring the identity of owners to be revealed.

Transparency estimates the heritage bought with suspect funds at 6.7 billion pounds, mostly in uptown London, including 1.5 billion by Russians.
