The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its solidarity with the Syrian people, affirming its readiness to provide all possible support in relief efforts for those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria.
Foreign Minister Zambri Abdul Qadir said in a statement: “We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims and their families, in addition to the government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic, and we ask God Almighty for wellness and safety, and we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and their families.”
The statement added: Malaysia is preparing to provide the required assistance to mitigate the damage caused to the victims in those areas affected by the earthquake.
