Omani writer and political researcher Khamis Al-Qutaiti stressed the need for the entire international community to move to support Syria and extend a helping hand to it to address and overcome the repercussions of the devastating earthquake that exacerbated the humanitarian situation in it, after all the harsh conditions it was subjected to during the past 12 years.
Al-Qutaiti said during a phone conversation with Al-Souria TV: Syria today is living in a catastrophic situation, and everyone who has a sense of humanity must stand up to support it. Syria is in this ordeal.
Al-Qutaiti was surprised by the reluctance of international institutions and humanitarian organizations that fall under the umbrella of the United Nations to contribute to providing aid to the Syrian people, wondering where are the morals of these countries in which these humanitarian organizations are present?
Where we are witnessing today a catastrophe in Syria, and there must be a global donation for it, bearing in mind that there are many events that occurred in a number of countries of the world, including natural disasters, and all countries of the world have mobilized to carry out their humanitarian role, and therefore the countries of the world, especially the major ones, must To send aid to Syria.
Al-Qutaiti indicated that the humanitarian catastrophe that befell Syria requires all Arab brothers to come to the aid of their Syrian brothers, and to launch major campaigns to break the siege and the unjust ban imposed on Syria.
Al-Qutaiti stressed that the United Nations is not exempt from its responsibility regarding the situation in Syria, as it has a number of organizations and bodies specialized in such humanitarian aspects, and today it must raise its voice and issue calls to various countries of the world to support Syria in dealing with this catastrophic humanitarian situation to which it is exposed.
