A fatal traffic accident between three vehicles, including a minibus vehicle empty of passengers, occurred this morning (Tuesday) on Route 3, near the Yitzhak Beacons.
MDA medics and paramedics pronounced the death of a 60-year-old man (the driver of the minibus) on the spot. Two 20-year-old men in serious condition were taken to Barzilai Hospital suffering from multi-system damage.

One of the injured was trapped in the private electric vehicle and the dead person was apparently trapped between the vehicle's wheels.
Firefighters were called to the scene to carry out the rescue.
Police traffic accident examiners have begun investigating the circumstances of the accident, and traffic is being directed at the scene by the police officers.
