The director of the Institute of Earthquake Forecasting Theories and Geophysical Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Peter Shabalin, confirmed that the unjust economic sanctions imposed on Syria increase the difficulty of rescue operations and increase the number of victims as a result of the earthquake that hit it yesterday.
