The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will be present tonight in the hall of the Ariston for the first evening of the Sanremo festival.

Amadeus announces it.

"I have the pleasure and honor to announce that President Mattarella will be there for the first time in the history of the festival," said Amadeus.

"It is an important sign of closeness to the world of entertainment".

Having the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella with us is an opportunity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Italian Constitution and there was no better way to do it than by inviting Roberto Benigni," said Amadeus.

Sanremo 2023, starting this evening, will be an 'open' festival.

Until Saturday 11 February, the Rai 1 streaming signal will be freely accessible anywhere in the world from 20.00 to 3.00 in the night.

In fact, the signal geoprotection mode has been deactivated.

The same goes for the 4k channel, Visual Radio, the LIS version and the press conferences broadcast on RaiPlay.
