A stormy night in the Knesset plenum

MK Ofer Kassif from the New-T'al party expressed himself in an unusual way and called for civil unrest against the current government and in response was dismissed by the vice chairman Nissim Vettori.

Kassif was not content with that, and even called the members of the government 'fascists'.

Vettori, who at the time was presiding over the plenary debates, asked MK Kasif to retract his words, and after he refused, Vettori ordered him to stop his speech and get down from the podium. Kasif refused to come down, and was finally taken down from the speaker's stand by the Knesset ushers who were called to help by Vettori.
