Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, announced that Hezbollah has sent medical delegations for humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people, pointing out that Syria needs someone to turn around and cooperate with it, and this is the least of the duties.
Sheikh Qassim made it clear that the earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey requires us to stand side by side, denouncing the bias of some countries against Syria in a way that is not consistent with the lowest humanitarian standards.
He stressed that the sanctions imposed by the United States and European countries on Syria are among the main reasons preventing efforts to help the Syrian people.
Sheikh Qassim also praised the steadfastness of the Syrian people over 12 years of sanctions and attacks, who did not change their convictions and decisions and did not acquiesce in what America and Europe wanted.
