A second Algerian plane arrived at Aleppo International Airport, carrying 15 tons of food relief aid, mattresses and blankets, intended for those affected by the earthquake.
Colonel Dahou Mohamed Nazim, Commander of the Algerian Expedition, said: The relief aid comes within the humanitarian missions provided by the Algerian state to the brotherly Syrian people affected by the earthquake, and includes various foodstuffs that meet the needs of citizens.
And a member of the executive office concerned with the Aleppo Governorate Council, Dr. Abdelkader Dawalibi, stated that the second Algerian plane includes 15 tons of humanitarian relief aid, food, clothing, mattresses, and blankets, to support the shelters located in the Aleppo governorate, and it comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Algerian relief team that arrived in the morning, and began relief work and recovery The missing from under the rubble, to support our national relief team in the affected areas, as the governorate provides all facilities to the brotherly and friendly expatriate teams.
The Director of the Office for Organizing the Transport of Goods in Aleppo, Eng. Omar Ezzat, said: Work has been done to organize and transport all incoming aid via relief planes from brotherly and friendly countries around the clock, by unloading the planes through trucks belonging to the Office of Goods Transport, and delivering them to the designated centers for distribution to the affected people.
