Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the Aleppo Governorate Council, Dr. Kumait Asi Al-Sheikh, said that the death toll from the devastating earthquake that the city of Aleppo was exposed to has reached 364.
Al-Sheikh explained in a statement to SANA reporter that 92 injuries were recovered from under the rubble by the rescue team, and the number of injured reached 702, including 92 severe injuries under treatment in hospitals, and 610 minor injuries that were treated and discharged.
Al-Sheikh pointed out that the number of completely collapsed buildings has reached 53, and the number of shelters that have been equipped in the governorate is 126.
Rescue teams continue their work searching for survivors and victims as a result of the collapse of dozens of buildings, due to the devastating earthquake that struck Syria at dawn yesterday.
