Trees and scaffolding collapsed - the storm Barbara hits Israel (Walla system!)

The family of the 11-year-old boy from Tel Mond who was injured yesterday (Monday) by a tree that fell on him during the storm blamed the local proposal for the incident.

According to them, the Tel Mond council knew that there were trees on its territory that fell due to the customers, but did nothing to prepare or prevent an accident.

The child's condition is serious, and he is in the intensive care unit at Schneider Hospital.

He is sedated and ventilated with a multisystem injury, but stable.

"The infrastructure problems in Tel Mond are nothing new, and that just a few months ago a tree fell near one of the houses of a family member and destroyed his pergola," said the parents.

"The council is aware of the issue and warned them, but unfortunately, even though they knew the storm was coming, they did not organize or take down very tall trees that pose a real danger to life," they added.
