The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce affirmed its full readiness to provide all possible assistance to those affected by the earthquake.
In a statement that SANA received a copy of, the federation called on all merchants and industrialists in the contributing governorates to extend a helping hand to those affected by providing in-kind materials, “clothes, food, medical aid, tents, heaters, blankets, medicines, etc.,” and to coordinate with the chambers of commerce in the affected governorates in this regard.
The federation stated that cash assistance and donations can be provided in the special account “to support our people affected by the earthquake,” which is opened in the name of the Syrian Trust for Development at Byblos Bank.
According to the statement, the donation will be made to the central account numbers of the Syrian Trust for Development 004- 0262888, or to its account in Hama 2050262888028, or in Aleppo 2050262888007, or in Lattakia 2050262888008.
