The Lebanese army announced today that it will send members of the engineering regiment to Syria to contribute to the work of rescuing those afflicted by the earthquake that hit it at dawn yesterday, and led to the fall of hundreds of victims.
The army said on its Twitter account: "It will send 15 members of the engineering regiment to the Syrian Arab Republic to contribute to the search and rescue work."
Yesterday, Lebanon expressed its deep sympathy and solidarity with the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic regarding the catastrophe caused by the earthquake that struck it at dawn yesterday, expressing its readiness to offer a helping hand and assistance in facing the repercussions of this earthquake.
