President Bashar al-Assad received this morning a phone call from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said, Sultan of Oman, during which he expressed his solidarity and the brotherly Omani people with the Syrian people as a result of the devastating earthquake disaster. For the wounded and the injured, a speedy recovery.
His Majesty affirmed that the Sultanate of Oman will stand with Syria in all that is necessary to overcome this ordeal, and will send urgent aid to support the Syrian government's efforts to overcome the effects of this disaster and provide relief to those affected by it.
