The Syrian embassy in Hungary called for solidarity with those affected in Syria by the earthquake, which resulted in hundreds of victims.
The embassy said in a statement, a copy of which SANA received: “The Syrian embassy in Budapest calls upon the honorable members of the Syrian community to quickly come to the embassy building to provide assistance and donations to their brothers in Syria whose cities and villages were subjected to a devastating earthquake at dawn yesterday, and they are waiting for your initiative to extend a helping hand to them with what It helps them to overcome this catastrophe that befell our beloved homeland, Syria, so come to their aid and relief, and be, as Syria promised you, pioneers of good, for we are all children of one homeland.
