Men and women up to the age of 28 can sign up to be officers, and collect a scholarship while they train. Details and requirements.

"I made a career in the

City Police

."

With this slogan, which is replicated in advertisements and street posters, the Buenos Aires security force is carrying out these days a

call for young people

"with a vocation for service" to

incorporate

 them into their ranks.

That is, so that they

become police officers

.

Of course, for a job of this nature, which involves

handling weapons

strict requirements

to be able to enter, which include a selection process with

physical, psychological and medical examinations

.

Then, the officer candidate must go through an intensive

two-year

training course , which will involve

living in the academy

for a while .

The interesting thing is that during the instruction process they promise to

pay them a scholarship

 each month equivalent to

half the salary

 of an active police officer.

When asked by

Clarín

, the City Police detailed how much these sums are today.

Also, days before the start of a new school year, they specified

who can enroll

, in what way, with what deadlines and what the training consists of.

Graduates receive a tertiary degree from the Higher Institute of Public Security.
