About two months after the attempted assassination of a father and his four children in Nahariya, and three weeks after the arrest of the suspects in the incident - the prosecutor's office today (Tuesday) filed an indictment against the four suspects in the district court in Haifa.
In addition, the prosecutor's office demanded that the four remain in custody until the end of the legal proceedings against them.
As mentioned, on 8.12.22, in the morning, the police received a report of an explosion in a car on David Elazar St. in Nahariya, as a result of which the driver of the car, a 44-year-old resident of the place, was slightly injured. His four children who were with him in the car were not injured.
During the inspection of the scene by a police saboteur, it was found that the source of the explosion was an explosive device placed in the vehicle.

About a month ago, on January 6, 2023, the police detectives in Ashkelon arrested a suspect resident of Carmel Castle (22). Two days later, two more suspects, residents of Kiryat Yam (30) and Lod (24), were arrested for questioning at the police's offices.
A fourth suspect in involvement in the act, a resident of Tirat Carmel (27) was arrested on 1/24/23.
The investigation of the incident revealed that three of the suspects left by car from the parking lot of the suspect's residential building, a resident of Tirat HaCarmel (27), and arrived in the wee hours of the night in Nahariya to bury the cargo in the victim's vehicle.
According to the suspicion, the assassination attempt came in response to the murder of Rafi Ben Shalom that took place a week and a half earlier.
