The Sayyar Homs team, in cooperation with the Circassian Charity Association, began collecting in-kind and material donations, to transfer them tomorrow to Aleppo Governorate to alleviate the suffering of the families affected by the earthquake.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the young coordinator of the Sayyar team in Homs, Lilas Damishli, indicated that the Sayyar youth are working for the second day in a row to collect and pack as much aid as possible, and some of it was sent to those affected by the earthquake in Aleppo, and tomorrow the team will start to deliver the aid directly to the shelters in Aleppo.
The young volunteer, Muhammad Omair, said: The magnitude of the tragedy left by the earthquake gave birth to our determination and determination to be with our affected people, and we started working from the first hours, as numbers were published on social media, and the response was quick by the people in Homs who flocked to provide various assistance. .
In turn, the young woman, Miriana Rahiya, said: We collected as much as possible of various materials, and went to some displaced families in the Al-Arman and Dahiyat Al-Majd neighborhoods in Homs, and aid was distributed to them.
Rahiya added: Preliminary information was collected about the need for medicines for people in shelters, playgrounds and parks in Jableh and Aleppo, so that aid could be delivered to them.
Volunteer Muhammad Suleiman pointed out that some donors contributed to providing homes and transport vehicles for those affected in the city of Homs, and they are now available to everyone who needs them.
The young volunteer, Qatar Al-Nada Al-Hamoud, referred to working with one hand, while the young volunteer, Basma Nakdali, pointed to the state of pain that afflicted the souls as a result of this tragedy, with the occurrence of the earthquake.
