Abu Saadi explained that immediately after the earthquake occurred, the Governorate of Rif Dimashq rushed to respond to the emergency and help the affected people in the three governorates, and a group of technical mechanisms were sent, including 5 large civil defense vehicles, 12 trucks and five small early adopters, in addition to 7 ambulances, a mobile clinic, integrated medical cadres and rescue crews. And a group of specialized engineers and vehicles accompanied by a committee headed by a member of the relevant executive office and directors of civil defense and public services in the governorate.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Imad al-Khatib, a member of the provincial council for the city of Yabroud, explained that the city council and civil activities in the city were mobilized immediately after the earthquake occurred and began providing in-kind donations of various kinds to the committee formed by the province to receive the donations that will be transported via freight cars that were donated to the affected people in the provinces. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Damascus Countryside Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Muhannad Radwan Mustafa, the deputy head of the executive office, members of the office, directors of relevant institutions, and members of the People's Assembly for the governorate.
