Appeal against MK Kasif, police investigation against young people who are suspected of inciting violence - the busy day of the member of the Knesset from Otzma Yehudit:
MK Almog Cohen today (Wednesday) appealed to the ethics committee demanding action be taken against MK Ofer Kasif, this after the latter called for the execution of Mary citizens in the Knesset plenum last week.
In his application to the ethics committee, Cohen claimed that Kasif cursed him vigorously (Ben-7*).
In a letter to the committee, Cohen wrote: "It goes without saying that this curse is shocking in any forum and certainly in the Israeli Knesset, it seems that MK Kasif says whatever comes to his mind without any fear.
The incident where young people verbally attacked MK Almog Cohen at Tel Aviv University:
I arrived together with the activists of the "If You Want" movement at Tel Aviv University where the student supporters of terrorism from a new cell demonstrated support for the Jenin terrorists. We will not allow incitement to terrorism in the State of Israel!

"I would like to emphasize that this is not the first time Kasif has expressed himself in an extreme manner, only a month ago I submitted another complaint in which he called me a "Nazi". I take very seriously statements that contain profanity, defamation and contempt for an elected official, the ethics committee has decided and made it clear in the past that it will be viewed severely Many statements such as these, therefore I will ask the committee to punish MK Kasif with the maximum penalty and even deprive him of his salary immediately."

In the meantime, the Israel Police requested the attorney's office's approval to open an investigation on suspicion of inciting violence and terrorism against young people who chanted slogans of such a nature towards MK Almog Cohen during his visit to Tel Aviv University about a week and a half ago.
MK Cohen said: "I congratulate the Israel Police and those at its head for the decision to investigate the terrorist-supporting students who expressed their identification with the terrorists from Jenin, while enjoying affirmative action and free education.
I will not allow the defamation of our holy soldiers and the playing of praise songs for terrorists, while threatening to harm my life.
I will go wherever terrorist flags are raised by supporters of terrorism and I will physically prevent the festival of incitement and hatred against the State of Israel."
