The police arrived at the scene and arrested a man on the spot. He was suspected of "theft" and detained him for investigation.

At 0:21 a.m. yesterday (8th), an incident of stealing sesame oil money also occurred in the Guanyin Temple in Hung Hom.

The police received a report from a woman that she saw a suspicious man sneaking into the Guanyin Temple of the mission hall through the side door and stealing money from the sesame oil box.

The man in blue illuminated with a flashlight and reached into the sesame oil box with a ruler to "pull out" the sesame oil money, and then put the sesame oil money into his oblique pocket.

After receiving the report, the police went to the scene to search, but found nothing yet, and the case was temporarily classified as "burglary".

The day before yesterday (7th) at around 2 a.m., a passer-by reported that a 50-year-old man was behaving strangely in front of the incense oil tank at Fude Laoye Temple in Shuntian Village, so he reported it to the police.

When the police arrived at the scene, it was reported that the man was using an iron wire to insert into the coin slot of the sesame oil tank. He suspected that someone wanted to steal money for the sesame oil, so he was arrested.

The case was classified as "theft" for follow-up.
