Muhammad, two years old at the most, thirstily sipped water from a cork while still trapped between concrete slabs • 8-year-old Yait Chekmak survived 52 hours - until he was reunited with his family • And in the city of Gaziantep, Israeli forces rescued a 12-year-old boy from a shaft

As the hours and now the days pass since the earthquake, the chances of finding survivors decrease.

But at the same time, the joy of discovering life also overflows - especially in the case of children.

Yesterday it was a case of a baby girl who was only a few hours old, who was born under the rubble and was still tied by the umbilical cord to her mother, who unfortunately did not survive.

Today in Turkey and Syria there were other heroic children, who still hardly understand that they are such.

In the Turkish city of Antakya, the rescuers found a two-year-old boy, who was stuck between two concrete slabs.

The boy, his name is Mohammed Afrin, is a member of a Syrian refugee family.

In the video from the scene, the rescuers are seen serving little Muhammad water from a cork and encouraging him to drink.

"Mohammed, drink, drink!", a man's voice was heard in the background.

Muhammad sips, smiles and sticks out his dry tongue.

"Well done!", they say to him and ask: "Do you want to eat?"

After some more drinking and encouragement, the rescuers managed to saw the ruins around him and rescued Muhammad after 45 hours in the same position.

"Aferin Muhammed!"

Muhammed, well done!

The Israeli rescue force, operating in the city of Gaziantep, located a shaft in the ruins of a completely collapsed building.

The force crawled into the shaft and heard voices.

On the spot, a 12-year-old boy discovered that the four members of his family had perished.

After a four and a half hour rescue operation, the child was rescued.

There was also great joy in the city of Hatay, which was badly affected by the noises.

Yait Chekmak, an 8-year-old boy, was rescued after 52 hours in the rubble, and managed to be reunited with his family.
