Al-Hasakah - SANA
The General Electricity Company of Al-Hasakah has finished repairing the faults on the 230 kV tension line linking Al-Tabqa and Al-Abwab stations, which went out of service last night.
The Director General of the Electricity Company, Eng. Anwar Akla, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter that the repair operations have been completed, and the regions are being gradually recharged, pointing out that the tension line went out of service due to the collapse of the chain of insulators, and the fall of one of the phases at the railway bridge, southwest of the city of Hasakah.
The 230 kV line connecting Tabqa and Al-Abwab stations is the main source that feeds the governorate with electric current.
