A number of Syrian artists joined the initiative campaign launched by the Syrian Artists Syndicate as a result of the earthquake that struck

Many artists who initiated the blood donation campaign today expressed their solidarity with those affected by the earthquake, stressing that their various forms of initiatives are a national, human and moral duty.

The deputy captain, artist Hadi Parsley, said in a statement to SANA that these initiatives represent a humanitarian situation, and achieve solidarity among all people, especially as we are facing a great human catastrophe.

The head of the Damascus branch of the Syrian Artists Syndicate, Tamader Ghanem, indicated in a similar statement that the Artists Syndicate took the initiative to organize a blood donation campaign, believing in the need for artists to stand by the people of their country. , whether material or in-kind, or offering their homes to those affected.

In her turn, the member of the Central Council of the Syndicate, the artist, Reem Abdel Aziz, said: “The Central Council did not spare any efforts to provide a helping hand to those affected in this great tragedy,” stressing the need for concerted efforts among the Syrians to quickly overcome this ordeal.

Artist Basil Fattal, like other artists, called on the international community to break the siege on Syria, indicating that the tragedy that befell the homeland showed the great cohesion among all Syrians.

“The affliction is shared despite the distances,” said artist Radwan Kuntar, adding: “We felt the closeness of souls and the sincerity of standing with each other in all the hardships and tribulations we are exposed to.”

The artist, Qassem Malho, confirmed that the Syrian citizen hats off to him out of respect and pride for the cohesion and solidarity he showed among all Syrians.

As for the artist, Rana Jamoul, she said: “The artist’s humanitarian initiatives, such as providing homes to those affected, is a human duty. Any individual in society can be exposed to such a disaster, and the initiatives undertaken by Syrian artists in all their forms are a national, human and moral duty.”

Musician Mohamed Zaghloul said: “The blood donation campaign is a human duty, and we must do it on our own, to provide aid to our brothers affected by the earthquake.”

A number of Syrian artists from inside and outside Syria also took the initiative to stand by their countrymen in their ordeal, by donating sums of money.
