Croatian President Zoran Milanovic expressed his condolences to the Syrian people for the victims of the horrific earthquake that struck the country yesterday.
The Syrian honorary consul in Croatia, Abd al-Wahid Abd al-Wahed, stated that he had received a letter from the European Affairs Committee in the Croatian Parliament expressing solidarity with Syria, condolences for the earthquake victims, and readiness to provide the required assistance.
He also received a message from the head of the Social Democratic Party in Croatia, Bidja Green, in which he offered his deepest condolences while expressing his solidarity with Syria, stressing that these tragic incidents should receive all international attention to help their victims.
